Session Information

What to Expect

I want your time with me to be relaxed and fun. It is important that I get to know your child and for them to feel comfortable with me and my camera equipment, so I’ll spend the first couple of minutes doing just that. My goal is to capture you and your children in natural and candid moments. No pressure, no posing.

After your photography session I edit your pictures, select the perfect ones and organize them for you. A one-hour session will typically produce at least 45 photographs. I will then download your high-resolution photographs to the website of your choice within two weeks. If you don’t have a favorite I can recommend one that will be right for you. For an additional charge I will also put your photographs on a CD or SD card and drop them in the mail to you also within two weeks.

Payment is due at the end of the session and can be paid by check, cash or paypal. Please make checks out to Jackie Walker.

What to Wear

In one word – solids. Patterns can be distracting and we want all the focus to be on that precious little face! Bare feet work best. Of course, cowboy boots and just a diaper is adorable too! Feel free to bring your daughters favorite tutu or fairy wings and your sons favorite hat.  I also have my own stash of fun things for the little ones to wear.

Newborns look best in their birthday suits or a simple white onesie. They also photograph best in their first month.

Location, Location, Location

We can shoot anywhere your kids are happy and comfortable…at home, their favorite park or playground. I will be happy to suggest a location or I will scout out your location. My goal is for the photo session to be relaxed and fun, even for the parents.
